At Solid Furniture Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights and the process for returns, refunds, and reporting damaged or faulty products.
1. Returns for Change of Mind
You can return any items within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns after this period may be denied.
A 20% restocking and administration fee applies to all returns.
Items must be unused, uncut, and returned in their original packaging.
Products that have been cut, used, or installed cannot be returned or refunded.
Note: Shower and wall panels are building materials and must be cut before installation. Minor defects or slight damage to edges, corners, or the back of panels are normal and can usually be fixed during installation. For guidance, you can contact our technical team before installation.
To return items:
Arrange for the products to be sent back to us at your own cost.
Once received and inspected by our warehouse team, refunds will be issued minus the 20% handling fee.
Tip: Before installing, you may want to cut at least 20mm from each end of the panels to ensure they are straight and level. Our technical team can advise if you are unsure.
2. Faulty or Damaged Products
If your product is damaged, faulty, or not as described:
Report the issue within 14 days of delivery. Claims after this period may be denied.
Provide photographic evidence of the product, the damage/fault, and the quantity affected along with your order number.
We may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund depending on the situation and in accordance with your statutory rights.
Important:
Always check goods before signing for delivery. Sign the courier delivery note as damaged if there are visible issues.
Products that have been cut, used, installed, or not returned in original packaging are not eligible for replacement or refund.
No claims will be processed without proper photographic evidence and order details.
3. Failed Deliveries
If a delivery fails and results in order cancellation instead of re-delivery, refunds will be issued minus a £29.99 carriage fee to cover the original delivery cost.
4. Important Information
Batch Numbers:
Products are manufactured in batches. Slight variations in color or shade may occur between batches.
Ensure you order enough panels to complete your installation. Keep batch numbers for reference if ordering additional panels.
UV Exposure:
PVC panels must not be exposed to direct or indirect sunlight.
Store and cut panels indoors to prevent thermal distortion or discoloration.
Hiring Tradespeople:
Do not book a fitter or tradesperson until your order is received and checked.
We are not responsible for costs incurred due to late delivery or undetected issues.
Delivery Timescales:
Delivery times are estimated and occasionally may be delayed due to transport or logistics issues.
In rare cases where your order is not delivered within 30 days, you are entitled to a refund or replacement under UK Distance Selling Laws.
